IBEW Local 683 Education Fund
     Applications for the 2022-2023 Scholarship Program are available. Applications must be received by July 1, 2022 to receive full consideration.  You can contact the Local 683 office, 614-294-4786, or the IBEW Local 683 Education Trust Fund office, 844-683-0683,  for the application. This scholarship is open to the children of Inside Journeyman Wireman and Journeyman Installer Technicians who meet the proper criteria; 1) unmarried 2) under 30 years of age and 3) has been admitted  or is already enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited post-secondary institution. IBEW Founders Scholarship
The IBEW Founders' Scholarship honors the dedicated wiremen and linemen who founded the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Each year the officers of the IBEW are pleased to offer its working members scholarships on a competitive basis. It is hoped that the awards will not only contribute to the personal development of our members but also steward the electrical industry that our founders envisioned. An application for the IBEW Founders' Scholarship (form 172) is available on the IBEW website www.ibew.org/foundersscholarship
All IBEW members who have been in continuous good standing for four years preceding May 1 of the the scholarship year in which they plan to apply are eligible. Spouses or children of IBEW members are not eligible. Visit www.unionplus.org for more information about other scholarship opportunities.
