Stephen C. Strohm
A graveside service for Stephen Charles Strohm, 76, of Hebron, will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Weds, July 3 at Hebron Cemetery. Military Honors will be observed. Stephen died on June 28, 2019 at his residence. He was born November 2, 1942 in Columbus to the late Charles T. and Ruth M. (Dixon) Strohm. Stephen attended West High School. He met his wife, Leona "Lyn" (Richardson) Strohm during high school and they have spent nearly sixty years together. Stephen served in the Navy completing four years in the Reserves and two on Active Duty during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was an Electrician by trade and worked over 55 years with the IBEW Local 683. Stephen enjoyed cars, tractors, computers and CB radios. In addition to his wife, Lyn, he is survived by four children, Lori Strohm of Somerset, Kara (Nick) Epifano of Thornville, Stephen C. Strohm II of Hebron and Colin T. Strohm of Newark; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Ted (Sue) Strohm of FL and Becky (Frank) Cross of Hillard. No calling hours observed. William A. Kaeppner, Sr.
William A. Kaeppner, 71, of Logan, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.  He was born July 14, 1947 in Columbus, son of the late Herman and Helen Downy Kaeppner.  Bill was married for 52 years to Sharon Cunningham Kaeppner, who survives. He was a longtime employee for Superior Electric where he was an electrician.  Bill was a proud Marine, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who was highly involved in local government and attended St. John Catholic Church in Logan.  He was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 683 in Columbus, an AMA Life Member, AMA Congressman, chartered club president, event organizer, advocate, donor and patron.  Bill defended the rights of motorcyclists for decades and over the years, he created opportunities to ride for thousands of motorcyclists.  He supported the AMA personally through his organizations he founded and ran.  His contributions to the sport were significant and lasting. Bill is survived by his son, Billy Keappner of Logan; daughters, Sheri (Keith) Young of Logan and Kathy (Kevin) Jones of Raleigh, North Carolina; grandchildren, Geovanni (Lexie), Jacob (Stefani) Alyicia and Gracie; great grandchildren, Alex and Santino; sister, Rosemarie (Frank) Stetzer of Washington; brothers-in-law, John (Ellen) Cunningham, Jim Cunningham and Michael (Lori) Lehnert; sister-in-law, Rosemarie Keappner of Cincinnati and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Kaeppner and sister, Mary Catherine Kaeppner. Funeral services will be held 7 p.m., Monday, June 24, 2019 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.  Cremation will follow the services.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.


James N. DeVillers
James Nester DeVillers, age 82, Wednesday, June 19, 2019, Columbus Alzheimers Care Center with family by his side. Born December 10, 1936 in Columbus, Ohio, son of the late Nester and Margaret (Dixon) DeVillers. Survived by his wife of 53 years, Rosemary DeVillers; sons, Timothy, Sean (Samantha) and Chad DeVillers; grandchildren, Kyle, Mitchell, Nathan, Ashley, Ajaleagh, Gwyneth, Declan DeVillers; sister, Sue (Steve) Gross; and brother, Danny (Mary) DeVillers; numerous other relatives and friends. Veteran US 
Army Signal Corp where he served 2.5 years stationed at the Washington DC as part of President Eisenhower's essential personnel. Retired electrician for IBEW Local 683. Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 4661 Kenny Rd. Memorial Mass to be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Timothy Church, 1088 Thomas Ln.
