Reminder...the annual 683 Fish Fry is Friday June 1. It is open to all members and non-member apprentices & CW/CE's who work out of Local 683. It sarts at 2:00, food to be served at 5:00. Park behind the JATC or across the street at the Yard.


Airman and Family Readiness Program -

On behalf of the 121st Airman and Family Readiness Program of the 121 AirRefueling Wing, I would like to thank you for your support during the holidays. You are part of a small group that has made a significant impact in the lives of ourmilitary members and their families. Your support does not go unnoticed, and we hope that you will be inspired to continue your involvement with the Airman and Family Readiness Program. Last year we grew and prospered only because we had loyal friends, like you, providing support along the way. IBEW Local 683 Education Fund - Scholarship Information

Attention 683 members with children that are high school seniors or college students:

THe I.B.E.W. Local 683 Scholarship applications are currently available at the Fringe Benefits office. We were able to help 68 students last year with their college costs. You may obtain a scholarship application for dependent children by contacting Kim Bowman at the Benefits office (614)421-0600, ext. 2 or 1-800-345-5905. All students currently receiving a scholarship must reapply for the 2018-2019 school year. 

All applications must be completed and returned to the fund office no later than July 1, 2018.



  The  2018 International bowling tournament will be held Friday thru Sunday, June 8, 9, 10, 2018 in Dayton, OH hosted by Local 82.

 The tournament consists of singles, doubles and 5 person team events.  You must be a member in good standing (dues must be current) to bowl in the tournament.  Entry deadline is April 1, 2018.

 Anyone wanting to go to the tournament must provide sanction number, along with name, address, phone number and bowling average for 2016-2017 season.  The cost is $150. for the tournament and banquet.

The host hotel is Marriott University of Dayton, 1414 South Patterson Blvd. Dayton, OH 45409  Phone # 1-937-226-6851   

 Cost is $125. per night.  

  If you are interested, bowling fee of $150. cash with name, address ,phone number,  sanction number must be turned in to Bobbie in the hall by Thursday, March 29.

 You are responsible for making your own room reservations- mention IBEW for the lower rate.

 With the leadership role of the Electrical Trades Center opening at the end of the school year, the ETC is    partnered with Beecherhill as a search firm to aid in the search. Beecherhill will be conducting a full active search as well as stewarding applicants through the process.
